Former Liberal Party vice-president Teena McQueen has urged Australians to “push back very hard” against Labor’s proposal to remove gas cooktops and water heaters to reach net zero emissions.
The proposal follows a similar plan the US suggested several months ago.
“Just don’t accept this thing and of course, Albanese is going to follow Biden’s rule of law so we really have to push back.”
