The Prime Minister has reportedly disregarded royal protocol, failing to perform one key action in the more than seven months since Queen Elizabeth’s death.
Royal biographer Robert Jobson claims the royal protocol has not been followed in the seven months since Queen Elizabeth died.Mr Albanese met with King Charles last September in London ahead of his mother’s funeral and claims he extended an open invitation during the warm exchange.
"And I know that when I met with King Charles, we had a discussion about a visit, and I of course conveyed that he would always be welcomed here." The Albanese government repeatedly reiterated a republic referendum was not a priority in its first term as it campaigns for an Indigenous Voice, but is reportedly gearing up for a national consultation tour early next year.
