Ahmad Zahid tiba di ibu negara China itu selepas memulakan lawatan beliau ke republik berkenaan di Hong Kong pada 22 Mei lepas diikuti Shenzhen dan Shanghai. Semasa lawatan Ahmad Zahid di Shanghai semalam, beliau menyaksikan permeteraian kerjasama antara MARA Corporation dengan dua syarikat gergasi China bagi meneroka perniagaan bidang baharu khususnya tenaga boleh diperbaharui, baik pulih dan penyelenggaraan bas elektrik serta penyimpanan tenaga suria dan bateri.
