Simultaneously!
Sixteen! Pollaers hasn’t even worked at 16 major companies. He hasn’t been near a major company since 2014, when he was shown the door at Pacific Brands after less than two years. He certainly didn’t transform it., just eight of them as CEO. He transformed it by selling more beer – groundbreaking, right? – then accepting a takeover offer from SABMiller.
Successful or otherwise, 16 major company transformations is a ludicrous boast. On Wednesday, his PR representatives at 50 Crates did not respond to repeated requests for explanation.Pollaers hasn’t had a corporate job since 2014 and until joining GUD Holdings last year, hadn’t sat on any public company boards. Instead, he managed to get himself appointed to a string of minor government reviews and taskforces.
He’s a professor without a PhD, of course, and without any peer-reviewed research to his name – at least none that we could find.
