AGF issues stern warning to MDAs

A statement issued by Mr Johnson Oise, Head, Press and Public Relations on Friday in Abuja, said Idris gave the warning when Mr Abubakar Adamu, the Acting Inspector-General of Police visited him.

He commended the Nigeria Police Force for showing example by complying with the directive of the President. “This has further demonstrated the robustness of the platform and our avowed commitment to a transparent, accountable and efficient management of the nation’s funds in line with global best practices,”

The AGF said that considering the enormous role the Nigeria Police plays in maintaining peace and security in the country, there was the need for it to be supported with adequate funding.
