As the inquiry continues in Ottawa, we are learning police powers were sufficient to stop the protest if they were used and that police were not asking for the Act to be invoked.Article content But if the government thought the situation so dire that it seriously threatened the ability of the Government of Canada to preserve the sovereignty, security and territorial integrity of Canada, it must have been close to war on the streets, wouldn’t you think?
