After sultan’s call, PAS urges Muslims to uphold ban FMTNews
PAS Selangor chief Ahmad Yunus Hairi said the party will work to ensure nobody threatens Malaysia’s harmony.
The PAS statement, by its Selangor leader Ahmad Yunus Hairi, said Muslims should abide by a directive restricting them from visiting other houses of worship to learn more about other faiths. Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, in a media interview published this morning, said while Muslims can attend ceremonies such as funerals or wakes at non-Muslim houses of worship, they should remain observers and not take part in any rituals.
