A video-based test being developed by the University of Queensland will help assess the driving capacity of hundreds of thousands of Australians who have been diagnosed with dementia.

After his dementia diagnosis, Mr Quinn followed Queensland rules and informed the Department of Transport about his medical condition. The now 71-year-old paid to do a full assessment and practical test with a driving instructor and an occupational therapist.
