Connie arrived at the Delta Community Shelter shortly after the atmospheric river flooding in November 2021

After originally being found clinging to a log boom in the Fraser River and then spending the next 14 months at the Delta Community Animal Shelter , Connie has officially found her happily ever after home.

“Her new owner is everything we could have hoped for, for Connie. He is understanding of her needs and has been dedicated to her since day one. Despite the adjustment period of transitioning into a home for the first time , she has since settled, and life is looking up!,” said Voutilainen
