Collingwood champion Scott Pendlebury will become just the sixth player in VFL/ AFL history to reach the magical 400-game milestone this weekend. The 36-year-old was joined by other members of the exclusive 400-club on Wednesday for an iconic photo shoot. Games record holder Brent Harvey , Michael Tuck , Shaun Burgoyne and Dustin Fletcher all flanked Pendlebury for the photo. But Richmond legend Kevin Bartlett was the only member of the club not present.

” Pendlebury admitted “he didn’t feel comfortable” sitting up there with the legendary players. “It’s pretty surreal to be honest,” he said. “I think late in Boomer’s career, I called him old because he was 36 and still playing ... I remember playing with Shauny in the Australian team against Ireland in the International Rules and just being in awe of how good of a player and teammate he was. Playing against Fletch and Boomer, they are legends of the game.
