Former Head of Account Management for APAC, Soon Yean Lee takes on the role as Country Manager for Adyen in Malaysia appointment fintech leadership

Adyen, a global financial technology platform for businesses, today announced the appointment of Lee Soon Yean Lee was previously the Head Of Account Management for APAC, where he was based in Singapore. With this appointment, he returns to Malaysia. Lee joined Adyen in 2015. Prior to joining Adyen, he worked with companies like AirAsia and Amadeus Asia.Lee said, “I am honoured to lead Adyen’s growth in Malaysia. Our experience with a global, well-diversified merchant base means that we’re well-versed in the challenges retailers typically face. Knowing these, we’ve built a single platform that addresses these pain points and benefits all merchants.
Meanwhile, Adyen also launches its unified commerce solution in Malaysia. Powered by Adyen’s single platform, unified commerce gives businesses end-to-end control of transactions across different sales channels . “With our single platform, businesses can get a central overview of payments data from all sales touch points,” said Warren Hayashi, president of Adyen, APAC. “Shoppers in Malaysia are highly discerning and eager to embrace the flexibility of multi-channel payments.”
