On Twitter, one royal fan noted that the headdresses were similar to those worn by Queen Elizabeth’s coronation in 1953.“The Princess of Wales & Charlotte have both worn very similar replicas of the headdresses worn by the Queen’s maids of honour at her 1953 Coronation.Credit:“Like Mother, Like daughter. Both looks absolutely beautiful,” one Twitter user wrote.Catherine, Princess of Wales, and her daughter Princess Charlotte.
The five-year-old was in fine form during the early part of the coronation ceremony, pulling his trademark cheeky faces.Photographs of the young prince’s reactions to the service left royal fans delighted. In one image, Louis could be seen rolling out his tongue, his jaw slack, as he walked into Westminster Abbey with his parents and big sister.Video from inside Westminster Abbey also showed Louis struggling to stay still as the ceremony took place.
Later, he temporarily from proceedings, but was seen back at his parents’ side towards the end of the service.
