The world celebrated Earth Day on Monday which is an initiative to bring attention to the ongoing issue of climate change.
The Earth Day Network aims to end plastic pollution, protect endangered animals and educate the public on environmental activism across the globe.
The group has set the theme of the 2019 campaign to the conservation of endangered species and is asking people to join their Protect our Species campaign.Their goals are to educate the public on the accelerating rate of extinction of millions of species and activate a global movement embracing nature.
