An alleged Melbourne rapist who is accused of posing as an Uber driver, waiting outside pubs and clubs to prey on intoxicated women, has been granted bail. 7NEWS
De Luise denies assaulting any of the women.
On Thursday, De Luise, who has been in custody since his arrest in September, was granted bail with a $1 million surety and strict conditions in the Supreme Court of Victoria. He also has to surrender his passport, is not allowed to leave Victoria and cannot visit Melbourne’s CBD unless it’s for work, court or medical reasons.Earlier in the week, De Luise applied for release so he could help financially support his family.
