Abra Representative Menchie Bernos on Wednesday asked President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. to extend assistance to her province after it was hit by a strong earthquake in the morning. "We implore on the President to extend assistance to the province of Abra to help us rise from the ashes of the devastating disaster," Bernos said in a privilege speech.killing four people and injuring 60 others"We ask him to mobilize relevant agencies namely the NDRRMC, DSWD, DepEd, DOH, DPWH, PNP, AFP and DOTR to help us get back on track. We are optimistic that the father of our nation will look after us," Bernos added.
