Constables Bradley and Larsen were last week jointly awarded the National Police Bravery Award for their response that evening."It was obviously overwhelming because I hadn't experienced anything like that before — it was just intense," Constable Bradley told the ABC. All four officers then attempted to transport him to the local medical clinic, but upon arrival, they were attacked.Projectiles, including rocks and spears, were hurled in the direction of police and the injured man, as they attempted to shelter.
