‘A loud bang, smoke in the sky’: Shah Alam plane crash sounds like firecracker next to my ear, says resident

SHAH ALAM: Nur Alia Nordin was at home watching television when she heard a loud bang.

“I raced out of the house and saw thick black smoke in the sky,” she told FMT, when met at the site. The 28-year-old immediately rushed to the site, which is 3km away, with her husband. They were shocked to learn that a light aircraft had crashed on the Guthrie Highway.
