A-level results day 2024 important information and updates across our region and beyond
It is A-level results day, and thousands of nervous youngsters across the country are eagerly awaiting their results. We will be live today, with reporters stationed at schools across Merseyside, speaking to students about their grades and their plans for the future.and options for young people going forward as well as keeping on top of the national picture as all the results come in.
Different schools and colleges release their results at different times, with the earliest usually inviting students in from around 8am. If a student meets the grades for their preferred university offer, they will then be sent confirmation from UCAS that they have a place. If a student misses out on their preferred university course, they can either accept their insurance offer or use the clearing process to apply for different courses at different universities. We will bring you all the information you need to help you make the right choice for your future.
