Aspiring actors, singers and dancers will get a chance to strut their stuff on stage at the largest performance centre in southwestern Nova Scotia. | SaltWire

Sarah Turpin is co-director of Th'YARC's upcoming show, Broadway Night 2023. CONTRIBUTEDYARMOUTH, NS – Aspiring actors, singers and dancers will get a chance to strut their stuff on stage at the largest performance centre in southwestern Nova Scotia.

“Broadway Night is a way that we can still perform these songs that we absolutely love without having the rights to the entire production.” “Every Broadway Night is different and I try my best not to repeat numbers,” says Turpin. “This year we are doing more mature so we are recommending a 16-year-old-plus audition and a 16-plus audience because we are hoping to do some songs from things that are a little bit more mature.”

“We want people to come in and know that whatever song you audition with might not necessarily be the song you perform,” she continues. “We are going to basically cast you in a song that vocally, how you dance, your dance comfort level.”
