Nine members of K-pop group Loona have filed an application for injunction against their agency, Blockberry Creative, seeking to suspend their exclusive contracts.
JTBC Entertainment News published an exclusive report on Nov. 28 stating that Loona members HeeJin, HaSeul, YeoJin, Kim Lip, JinSoul, Choerry, Yves, Go Won and Olivia Hye filed the injunction excluding Vivi and HyunJin.The nine members reportedly made the decision after judging that the mutual trust with Blockberry Creative has been broken, making it difficult to have work and activities under the agency.
It added that if the nine members win, it will be difficult for Loona to carry out activities as a whole group under Blockberry Creative and may result in the group’s disbandment. According to the report, Blockberry Creative experienced financial difficulties. Last year, there was an issue of the company failing to pay outsourcing companies and outsourced personnel. Chuu was also not paid, it added.
