The Liberal Party has “abandoned” communities when it comes to the views, values and issues they care about, says Independent Member for Warringah Zali Steggall.

“In relation to the Liberal Party, I think the question is, where has the Liberal Party gone?”, Ms Steggall told Sky News host Laura Jayes.

“It has gotten lazy and assumed that an attitude of, ‘give me your vote and don’t worry too much about the policies over the next three years’ would be good enough – it’s not.”
