Child Psychologist Clare Rowe says the government halving subsidised psychology sessions is “skirting the main issue”.
Australians accessing subsidised psychology sessions will have their visits halved in a matter of weeks as the government moves to scrap a scheme introduced at the height of the pandemic.
“One of the main issues is that we are very, very short of psychologists in this country given the rise in mental health diagnosis, and the psychologists we have are leaving in droves,” Ms Rowe told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.
