Sky News host Cory Bernardi says the “gloss” is wearing off the Albanese government as the broken promises pile up.

Mr Bernardi said it’s becoming increasingly obvious that Labor “doesn’t really care” about how substantive policy issues impact Australians’ lives.

“Instead, they only seem to care about pushing their ideological framework into almost every aspect of our lives,” he said. “They’ll spin that lack of concern with soothing words about consulting and sustainability and so on.” Mr Bernardi said the “honeymoon is well and truly over” for the Labor government, but it’s “unfortunate” that Australians are left with the “hangover from their self-congratulations”.
