Liberal Senator Alex Antic says while he generally doesn’t agree with Senator Lidia Thorpe, she “gets the headlines” and gets her message across.
This comes after Ms Thorpe dressed up as a royal at an anti-monarchy event in Melbourne amid her demands for King Charles to apologise for British colonisation.
“The left of politics – that’s the activist class at work there; she gets the headlines, she gets her message across,” Mr Antic told Sky News Australia.
