From beautifully crafted bars wrapped in Japanese paper to bonbons filled with silky ganache, Toronto has chocolate makers to choose from across the city.
Valentine’s Day is just days away. Instead of stressing about a gift, go old school and say it with chocolate, something decadent and handcrafted.
“Our bonbons always steal the show. There’s just something to be said about having a nice date night with some chocolate and flowers on Valentine’s Day,” says Toronto chocolatier Kata Ambrus, who ownsAmbrus and her team create unique flavour combinations that are hand-painted, making candies that are almost too beautiful to eat. Paintbrushes, sponges or even airbrushes are used to create bites of chocolate art.
