Just past the five-minute mark of the frame, the 67’s found themselves on the powerplay. A shot by Jack Beck bounced off the boards behind the Niagara goal, and Morrison pounced on the loose puck to get his scoring night started, also achieving his 250th career point in the process, for a 2-0 advantage, that the Barber Poles carried into the middle period.
With less than three minutes to go in the middle period, Morrison banged home a rebound, setting a new career high with four goals in a single game, and scoring the 100th of his OHL career.
