A 60-year-old lola just proved that it’s never too late to reach one’s dreams.
“ sarap pala ng feeling ng makapagsuot ng toga. Salamat sa Diyos naranasan ko rin ang magsuot ng toga,” she said.“Noong una, sa module, talagang nahirapan ako. Sumasakit ang ulo ko, nase-stress ako, gano’n. Sabi ko nga noon sa anak ko, sa bunso, hindi ko na yata kaya,” she said.Letecia stopped studying when she was 12 years old. She worked as a house helper to help her parents and never had the chance to go back to school.
The graduate added that she and her husband did not want their three kids to end up like them. Through the couple’s hard work, their children were able to finish their studies. Letecia is now preparing to enter high school. She is determined to finish her studies and go abroad.
