PETALING JAYA: A woman in Hubei, China, had the shock of her life after discovering about 60 cockroach eggs in a shampoo bottle she had bought online, China Press also reported.

When her son used the product, he screamed upon seeing the cockroach eggs. The woman then complained to the online platform as well as the manufacturer, which responded that the products were strictly controlled from production to delivery.

“It’s almost impossible for bugs to appear in the products. However, because the shampoo itself has a sweet scent, it is likely to attract bugs,” the manufacturer said.
