Survey shows respondents want EJK, POGO masterminds unmasked Six in 10 Filipinos are in favor of the House Quad Committee's probe into extrajudicial

Members of the House Quad Committee in a public hearing on November 13, 2024. Six in 10 Filipinos are in favor of the House Quad Committee’s probe into extrajudicial killings, illegal drugs, and illegal POGO activities, a Pulse Asia survey commissioned by the Stratbase Group showed.

Among socio-economic classes, support was highest among Classes ABC, with 64 percent backing the Quad Comm’s efforts. The survey was conducted from November 26 to December 3, 2024 with 2,400 respondents. It has a margin of error of ±2 percent. “The CHR views the collective action of the Philippine government and civil society towards supporting the victims of extrajudicial killings and their families as a crucial step in reshaping the Philippines’ drug policy in a way that upholds human rights, justice and accountability. No one, regardless of position or rank, should be allowed to stand above the law,” the CHR said.
