Menteri Kesihatan Dr Zaliha Mustafa berkata enam fasiliti kesihatan KKM di Johor yang terjejas teruk akibat banjir akan dibaik pulih dalam tempoh enam bulan. – Gambar fail The Malaysian Insight, 26 Mac, 2023.

Menterinya Dr Zaliha Mustafa berkata enam fasiliti itu terdiri daripada Klinik Kesihatan Chaah dan lima Klinik Desa di Kampung Tengah, Kampung Jawa, Kampung Jabi, Tenang Station dan Desa Temu Jodoh, kesemuanya di Segamat. Katanya setakat ini hanya KD Kampung Tengah yang dikenal pasti akan dipindahkan ke kawasan baru kerana klinik itu bukan sahaja terdedah dengan kejadian banjir malah kedudukannya dilihat agak dekat dengan jalan raya dan pernah berlaku kemalangan melibatkan lori sekitar kawasan itu.

Sementara itu merujuk kepada saranan agar KKM mengubah sistem pekerja perubatan berstatus kontrak kepada satu sistem yang bebas daripada Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam dan Kementerian Kewangan, Zaliha berkata ia merupakan pandangan yang baik dan cadangan itu boleh dipertimbangkan.
