With the launch of the 5G Rahmah package on Tuesday (Aug 29) by Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil, participating telecommunication (telco) providers are now offering more affordable 5G data and device bundle plans to Malaysians.
Telcos with a Rahmah package on offer include CelcomDigi, Maxis, YTL Communications, Unifi Mobile, and U Mobile, with all plans having a data minimum of 60GB and bundle device pricing capped at RM240.
CelcomDigi's offering is split between the Xpax Postpaid 60 and Digi Postpaid 60 plans, both of which have the option to grab a Samsung Galaxy A14 5G or an Honor 90 Lite 5G in the package.The Xpax option does come with an unlimited quota for social media use and YouTube viewing, while Digi users can upgrade their overall quota to 110GB for an additional RM10 each month.
U Mobile's Rahmah plan features a large 200GB data cap, with free 5G roaming in Singapore, Indonesia, and Thailand, priced at RM58 a month. The bundle plan features the same Samsung and Honor devices, which are priced at RM240 each.
