MANILA, Philippines — Around 500,000 residents of Makati City will receive P5,000 cash assistance under the local government’s P2.7-billion economic relief program amid the coronavirus disease pandemic. Information from the Facebook page of the Makati City government posted on Monday showed that all residents of Makati who are 18 years old and above and are living in the city or in relocation sites in Calauan, Laguna, and San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan will receive the cash aid.Those registered as Makatizen cardholder, Yellow Cardholder under the Makati Health Plus Program, and voters in the city will also benefit from the program.
