2. Hockey. If the Canucks are out of the playoff race by April, here’s a chance to cheer for a winning team. Glory — at both Gateway Theatre and Evergreen Cultural Centre — is a play about the Preston Rivulettes, a real-life Ontario women’s hockey team that racked up victories during the Dirty Thirties. It’s a feel-good Canadian sports story with a unique twist. Theatre critic Jerry Wasserman has a few other suggestions here.
