5 more Malaysian job scam victims come home
Five people who fell prey to a job scam syndicate in Cambodia have returned to Malaysia. – EPA pic, January 27, 2023.
According to a statement by the Foreign Ministry , the victims – aged between 17 and 42 years old – were accompanied by a senior Wisma Putra officer and a delegation of policemen who were on a working visit to Cambodia from January 24. Wisma Putra expressed its appreciation to the Cambodian government for its cooperation in rescue efforts, as well as for its willingness to accept the four-day work visit.
