419 in Batu Pahat still displaced by floods

THE number of flood evacuees in Batu Pahat dropped from 439 at 8pm yesterday to 419 as of 8am today, the State Disaster Management Committee said.The five centres are SK Seri Medan , Sekolah Agama Seri Bertam , Yong Peng Community Hall , SJKC Hua Min and Sekolah Agama Seri Comel . It also said Sungai Bekok at Bekok Dam was at the warning level of 19m, while the weather for all 10 districts in the state is forecast to be bright this morning. – Bernama, March 24, 2023.
