A TOTAL of 409 former Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) combatants received financial assistance under the Department of Social Welfare and Development's (DSWD) cash-for-work (CFW) program.

A TOTAL of 409 former Moro National Liberation Front combatants received financial assistance under the Department of Social Welfare and Development's cash-for-work program.The cash grants were given to decommissioned combatants from Region 10 and 12 who had successfully participated in CFW activities at their respective communities.

'The P9,000 that they received comes from the tax that Filipinos paid; therefore, they must utilize it wisely,' Tanjusay said on Friday.Each beneficiary from Cotabato received P10,881 in financial aid, while beneficiaries in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao received P9,072.The difference was calculated with the regular daily wage rate of P403 for Cotabato province and P336 for BARMM locations.
