40 frontliners recover from COVID-19; no new case, death reported

Forty more healthcare workers in the country were able to recover from the COVID-19, bringing the total to 584 as of May 10, the DOH said. | DYGalvezINQ

The number of healthcare professionals afflicted with the respiratory disease stayed at 1,991 since no new case was reported. Of this number, 1,373 are considered active.

Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire said that the number of healthcare workers being infected with the novel coronavirus or SARS-CoV-2 which causes the COVID-19 continues to decline.
