36 undocumented migrants found on express bus from Kelantan

Immigration director-general Ruslin Jusoh says syndicates are using public transport to avoid detection.

KUALA LUMPUR: The immigration department has arrested 36 foreign nationals trying to enter Malaysia illegally on an express bus.

“A total of 20 Bangladeshi men, along with 12 men and four women, all Myanmar nationals, aged between 19 and 45, were caught upon disembarking. Checks with the department’s system revealed that some of them had been blacklisted for previous offences.
