Waterloo regional police say three people were transported to hospital and one person was taken into custody after a stabbing incident at the University of Waterloo Wednesday afternoon.An increased police presence in the area will continue as the investigation proceeds, police said."There is no further risk to our campus community," the university said.
The school also wrote "there is no further threat to our campus community," adding, "To all individuals currently located in Hagey Hall PLEASE VACATE IMMEDIATELY and leave all doors open."#UWaterloo is supporting the @WRPSToday in their investigation.
