Three people were arrested while P174.8 million worth of shabu were seized in separate anti-illegal drug operations in Cebu City and Taguig City .The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency said a 63-year-old woman and her 41-year-old son were arrested in a pier in Cebu City Thursday morning while P170 million worth of shabu was discovered inside their vehicle.

Chemists from PDEA 7 Regional Office Laboratory conducted an on-site screening test on the recovered substances, which yielded a positive result for shabu.The evidence will be submitted to the PDEA 7 laboratory for confirmatory test and proper disposition.Charges for transporting illegal drugs under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the suspects.
