The Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) here had so far taken action on 28 premises with a confiscation value of RM32,627.80 and compound amounting to RM4,500.
“The action is the result of an inspection of more than 1,767 premises and 500 of them are premises in rural area,” said Chief District Enforcement Officer, KPDN Keningau Branch, Awang Azri Biahi, here, Thursday.He said KPDN had also carried out integrated operations together with the Sabah Islamic Religious Affairs Department and the Food Safety and Quality Division of the Ministry of Health Malaysia .
