THUNDER BAY – The 26th annual CIBC Run for the Cure was held on Sunday to support those who are affected by breast cancer and who may be going through breast cancer treatment.
“Over 250 have registered for it which is a great comeback here after COVID,” she said. “So far, over $31,000 has been raised and it’s still growing.” “We don't really have a goal, just anything we raise is better than what we didn't have yesterday,” she said. It brings awareness to people, and it helps show everyone that everyone is affected by [breast cancer], One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.”
