At least 229 areas in four regions across the country were still flooded following downpours caused by storm

“Hanna” and enhanced by the southwest monsoon , the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council reported Tuesday.NDRRMC Executive Director Ricardo Jalad said 118 areas were still flooded in Central Luzon, three in Mimaropa , one in Western Visayas and 107 in Metro Manila.

Seven incidents such as landslides, car accident, and tornado were reported to different provincial, city and municipal disaster risk reduction and management offices in the affected regions.A private vehicle slid into a ditch along Jose Abad Santos Ave. in Dinalupihan, Bataan, on Sunday, injuring an undetermined number of individuals.

Still in Bataan, a temporary steel bridge at Barangay Sibacan in Balanga town was washed out when the river overflowed Sunday. From Friday to Saturday, authorities also noted two soil erosions in San Marcelino town and Subic in Zambales with no reported fatalities; a tornado in Mamburao, Occidental Mindoro resulting to several partially damaged houses; and a landslide at Taal National High School in Taal, Batangas, with no reported fatalities.
