22 snakes seized from Malaysian at Chennai airport FMTNews
This is not the first incidence of wildlife smuggling caught at the Chennai Airport, with snakes, tortoises and marmosets also seized from a passenger arriving from Thailand in January.
The passenger was “intercepted” after arriving on an AirAsia flight on Friday, the Chennai customs department said on Saturday.
