Super Eagles defender, Jamilu Collins, is upbeat the team can win a fourth title at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire.
The three-time champions ended their qualifying campaign with an emphatic 6-0 victory against Sao Tome and Principe in Uyo on Sunday. The West Africans were bundled out in the Round of 16 by Tunisia at the last edition of the competition in Cameroon.“I strongly believe we can win the trophy in Cote d’Ivoire. We started well the last time in Cameroon, but unfortunately, we couldn’t go far,” the Cardiff City star said.
“Next year in Cote d’Ivoire, we want things to be better. We will be aiming for the trophy and I strongly believe we can win it.”
