Follow along with our NHL Draft Lottery Live Blog to see which team earns the right to pick first in June. (RoryBoylen )
The first 15 picks of the NHL Draft will be determined Tuesday night at the draft lottery from Toronto, Ont.
There are all sorts of storylines to keep an eye on. At the top, the Ottawa Senators pick has the best odds of coming out first overall but it, of course, is held by the Colorado Avalanche. There are also a couple of recent Stanley Cup champions in the lottery with Chicago and Los Angeles looking to recover and get back to better days.
Then there are the long shots. Montreal was in the playoff hunt until the very end and winning the lottery would give them yet another tremendous young centre to peg their future hopes to. And the Florida Panthers, fresh off hiring Joel Quenneville as they signal a determined effort to get back to the playoffs, would get another significant boost if their lottery balls are picked.
The lottery goes down between 8:00 and 9:00 p.m. ET Tuesday. Follow along here on our live blog as we give you all the latest news and notes from lottery night.
