Twenty beneficiaries of the Government Internship Program will start to work at the Navotas City Hall on Tuesday, June 15.“In government service, we are here not just to do our job.
We are here to help ease the burden of the people we serve. Let us give the best service we could offer our fellow Navoteños,” Mayor Toby Tiangco said.
The mayor encouraged the GIP beneficiaries to register and participate in the city’s vaccination program. “I urge you to get vaccinated so you will be protected from the disease as well as those whom you will encounter while working at the city hall,” he said. The local government allotted P1.4 million from its Gender and Development fund for the internship program.
