The CCPS Station Drug Enforcement Unit identified the suspect as Mark Anthony Tan, 38, of Tondo, Manila. Police said the buy-bust operation against Tan was launched on 1st Street, Barangay 120, in Caloocan City at around 8:40 p.m.Authorities recovered more or less 35 grams of shabu worth P238,000, and the buy-bust money from the suspect
Meanwhile, a woman was nabbed by the CCPS on Phase 12, Riverside Barangay 188, Tala, North Caloocan on the same day after she yielded 50 grams of shabu worth P340,000.The CCPS deployed personnel to the area after they received a tip from an informant about a group of individuals engaged in illegal drug activities in the area at around 10 p.m.Police approached them and managed to arrest Obinay. However, her cohorts in the illegal drug trade managed to escape.
