Two persons were arrested by the police in separate anti-illegal drug operations in Taguig on Jan. 10.
Personnel from the Taguig police’s Substation 8 conducted “Oplan Galugad” along Road 2, Barangay North Daang Hari, Taguig.
They arrested Jelie Omar, 45. The police seized three plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 14.8 grams and with a standard drug price of P100,640.Omar was brought to the Taguig police station. A complaint for violation of Republic Act 9165 will be filed against her. Along Maguindanao Street in Barangay New Lower Bicutan, Taguig, the police’s Drug Enforcement Unit conducted a buy-bust operation that led to the arrest of Abraham Datukali, 35.
The police confiscated five plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 90 grams valued at P612,000, a digital weighing scale, two P100 bills, and three pieces of P1,000 bill used as the buy-bust money.
