BUTTERWORTH: Fifteen passengers in an express bus had a scare when it skidded before overturning at Km5.5 of the Butterworth Outer Ring Road here early this morning.
Penang fire and rescue department operations commander Faisol Zainudin said those onboard, including the driver, sustained only minor injuries in the 4.20am incident. “Upon arrival at the scene, the team found that an express bus had overturned on the side of the road, and they managed to remove the 16 victims, including the driver, from the vehicle,” he said.
